Lisa Nichols’s 10 Ways Of What Self Care Looks Like

She has touched the lives of millions of people around the world with her inspirational and motivational words. She went from being on public assistance to being a millionaire entrepreneur and best-selling author of the book Abundance Now and No Matter What . She is a transformational speaker and coach and is the founder of Motivating the Masses. She is also someone I consider to be one of my distance mentors. She is Lisa Nichols and today I am going to be sharing with you Lisa’s take on the 10 ways of what self-care looks like.


According to Lisa self-care was something she struggled with and use to feel very guilty about doing for herself and as result has she had to learn to practice self-care. So coming from somebody who neglected self-care just like so many do at times let’s jump right in and see what are Lisa’s take on what Self-care looks like so that we can begin to apply these to our lives to help us to take better care of ourselves without further ado let’s begin

10 Ways Of What Selfcare Looks Like

1. According to Lisa engaging in self-care is the act of restoring your soul, and your cells and restoring your energy.

2. Lisa says and believes self-care is as important as your dreams or goals. She says that it is also just as important as the time you take and prioritize to make those sales calls, scroll through social media and push to master your craft. And that is why it deserves the same prioritization as those other things

3. According to Lisa self-care is knowing when to say a Healthy No without any explanation to your No

4. Lisa says that just as you are disciplined to give your dreams a chance. You must be discipline enough to practice self-care

5. According to Lisa self-care is focusing on you first and then giving to others. It is about filling your cup up and then giving and serving others from your overflow.

6. Lisa says self-care is a guilt-free act and it is you being responsible for your future and your journey

7. Self-care according to Lisa is accepting and realizing that your body needs all the support and the best treatment and care to function in your passion optimally and serve in your area of service to the earth and serve who you were meant to serve. Because you only have one body. one each vehicle in order to do that.

8. Lisa says that self-care is not always a practice of doing something. But self-care is also the practice of being present to your family or friends. It can be taking time for casual conversations or doing something that allows your brain to rest

9. Lisa says self-care can also mean making time to engage in self-acts such as going for a massage. Ooh yes and she said it is not something that you should feel guilty about giving yourself or doing.  Instead you should fully embrace it because it is a part of what selfcare looks like and it  indeed do well for your body and mind. So that you are rejuvenated and can go again.

10. Lisa says just telling your body thank you by giving it moment to just be is also self-care and this being can be you just totally relaxing doing nothing or something that makes you fell escaped maybe it might be just laying outside under a tree in the grass
