Cocoa Tea – Hot Chocolate Recipe

This rich and tasty health beverage is commonly known as chocolate tea and is served a lot of times during breakfast.

Cocoa Tea/ Hot Chocolate Recipe

Super tasty snd not only tasty but cocoa is a super food that has so many health benefits to the body.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 3/4 cup Grated raw cocoa
  • 1/2 cup Coconut milk (optional)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 3 Star Anise
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Freshly grated nutmeg
  • Honey to sweetened to your liking

Instructions
 

  • Add water to the pot along with cinnamon, nutmeg, bay leaf, nutmeg, and star anise and bring to boil
  • Once the water has boiled with cinnamon, nutmeg, bay leaf, nutmeg, and star anise, then lower the heat and addthe cocoa/ chocolate, stirring in to ensure its evenly incorporated.
  • Then add milk and honey to your taste and let it simmer for 5 minutes
  • You may also notice an oil deposits at the top of the pot of tea that however is from the cocoa itself and that's normal.
  • Then use a strainer to strain and serve hot with cinnamon stick and additional grated nutmeg.
